About the event

Join Sonora Collective for our final concert of the 2022-2023 season!

We will be premiering a newly commissioned work for flute and string quartet by composer Paul Frucht, entitled There Are Stars. Our program also includes Borodin's String Quartet No. 2, with its famous Nocturne, as well as Kaija Saariaho’s Nocturne for solo violin.

Performers include Katie Althen, flute; Julia Danitz and Jeremías Sergiani-Velázquez, violins; Leah Ferguson, viola; and Clara Abel, cello.

Doors open at 7:00 PM for a wine reception and a chance for audience members to get a closer look at paintings by Lisbon-based artist, Madi. The concert portion of the evening will begin at 7:30 PM and last approximately one hour.

We hope you can join us for this special evening of music and art!
